The source of the Nile is rich with bird-life, and you can hope to see amongst many other birds the Pied Kingfisher and Great Kingfisher, the Longtailed Cormorant (notable for its red eye!), the African Darter, the Great Cormorant, the African Openbill Stork, the Black Kite, the African FIsh Eagle and the Hadada Ibis. Monkeys also abound in the trees and seem to delight to give entertainment.
We also offer a village walk in which you can be taken to a village to meet local Ugandans and see have they live in a rural setting on a daily basis.

We run our own taxi service to get you around the Jinja area, but we can also collect you from Entebbe Airport and take you back, or tansport you from any of the big centres in southern Uganda including Kampala. Our fare from Entebbe to Jinja is only 185000 ugs (US$ 50) whereas the standard rate 250,000 ugs (US$ 67.50). Why not give us a try?
